Afghan Poppy Seed Elimination
The Afghanistan Poppy Elimination Project is an initiative by the US State Government to encourage native Afghan farmer to produce alternative crops instead of their more recent cultivation of the poppy flower. This effort will reduce the illegal drug trade present in Afghanistan and the its surrounding export countries.
Nour USA will participate in this effort by supplying life support for the US Advisors managing the project. Life Support needs will include:
- Food
- Housing
- Equipment Maintenance
These life support functions will be provided in multiple sites throughout Afghanistan.
